Fair Caravaca de la Cruz returns to urban town on 7, 8 and 9 October, with an extensive program, games, children's cultural and gastronomic activities.
The third edition of this event, organized by the City of Caravaca de la Cruz, with the collaboration of the Association of merchants and restaurateurs and Estrella Levante, was presented by the mayor, José Moreno, accompanied by the Councillor for Culture and Celebrations, Oscar Martinez and the Councillor of Tourism, Commerce and Handicrafts, Gloria Gomez.
"The fair is a good time to visit the town and coexistence among neighbors and to catch up with market developments the automotive and agricultural machinery, in a weekend complemented with activities for all ages", has Jose Moreno highlighted.
Activities under the Fair Caravaca de la Cruz will begin with a series of lectures on agriculture and the automotive sector, which will be developed in the Cultural Hall Cajamurcia.
The talks are planned: 'Future of rainfed agriculture in Caravaca de la Cruz' (Thursday, June, at 20.30 hours), 'IFEAT, intelligent agriculture and drones for flights field' (Friday, July, 19:00 ) 'advantages in associations in the automotive sector' (Friday, July at 20.30 hours) and 'hazards, rights and advantages in buying a vehicle, both used as new' (Saturday, August, the 19.00).
This year the food has special prominence, as during the three days of the fair, you can enjoy stalls tasting of typical products by local Association of merchants and restaurateurs, as well as an area with 'Food Trucks' with different types of fast food.
These two areas located on the Gran Via, will be entertained with live music and DJs.
The exhibition of vehicles and machinery, will be accompanied by an exhibition of acrobatics with larger displacement bikes 'Placido 666', which will take place on Saturday, August, at 12.30, on a stretch of the Avenue of the Constitution.
As for the cultural activities organized during the Fair Caravaca de la Cruz, it is noteworthy concerts to be held in the Plaza de Toros in charge of Seville 'Siempre Así' group (Friday, July at 22.00 pm) and the Spanish rock band 'Mojinos Escozíos' (Saturday, August, at 23.00 hours).
Similarly, the Thuillier theater monologues host the show 'Comedy naitS II', which is confirmed the participation of Ismael Beiro, Enric Company and caravaqueño Juanma Carolino.
This activity, held with great success last year, will take place on Friday, July, at 22.00, organized by the rider Terry rock.
Another of the highlights is the Market Antiques, Collectibles and Second Hand, who will be entertained with puppet shows and animation characters costumed, throughout the day on Saturday, 8 on Paseo de La Corredera.
Children will also enjoy fairground attractions, located next to the sports complex 'Francisco Torralba Fernández'.
