The councilman of Social Services, Health and Women in the City of Caravaca de la Cruz, Maria Jose Soria, wanted to encourage residents to participate this Sunday, October 2, at the joint activity 'Cut your hair', organized by the caravaqueña company 'Enigma stylists', on the occasion of its 25th anniversary, along with a dozen barbers, who also will collaborate on the initiative.
All funds raised from 10.00 to 13.00, will go towards the project "Fighting for a dream ', who leads the Association of Families of Children with Cancer in the Region of Murcia (Afacmur), in order to promote humanization of pediatric care.
The project works in adapting the new Maternity Hospital Virgen de la Arrixaca Hospital, to create a more friendly and approachable environment for children.
Since the association emphasizes that it is important that the child receive care appropriate to their condition and, moreover, is in a relatively standardized environment, so that the disease does not pose an obstacle to him in his social, psychological and educational development.
The activity will take place in San Simon Street, opposite the Home for the Elderly, and will also feature children's workshops, led by volunteers Afacmur, and live music.
"Donations will be free and voluntary and will go entirely to this cause," said the manager 'Enigma Stylists' Juani Garcia.
