The president of the Community, Pedro Antonio Sanchez, met with the mayor of Caravaca, José Moreno, and the president of the Commission of Celebration and older sister of the Confraternity of the Blessed and Vera Cruz, Elisa Giménez, to address the calendar programming of activities and parties for 2017, "a year very important" to Caravaca de la Cruz and Murcia for the Jubilee year.
The Commission is developing Celebrations programming of cultural activities to be held from 1 to 5 May in the framework of the festivities of Caravaca, declared of International Tourist Interest and supported the regional government.
With these performances and cultural events are intended to complement the promotion of the Jubilee Year of Caravaca, along with other activities that are already materializing the Camino Cruz Foundation.
These holidays are celebrated in a special year for the region in which it is intended to break the seasonal tourism and over a million and a half visitors in Caravaca.
