The Episcopal Palace hosted the presentation of different promotional activities of the Jubilee Year 2017 Caravaca de la Cruz, being carried out from the Bishopric of Cartagena and the Brotherhood of Vera Cruz, in collaboration with local and regional authorities.
With Bishop Jose Manuel Lorca plans, the act has had the participation of the mayor, José Moreno, and the Minister of Economic Development, Tourism and Employment, Juan Hernandez.
One of the initiatives discussed was sending 25,000 invitations to participate in the Jubilee, aimed at the Spanish parishes and 800 schools in the Region of Murcia.
Next to the poster, parishes receive throughout this week overview of the Jubilee Year of Caravaca.
This promotion initiative was approved at the second meeting of the Executive Committee of the Foundation Way of the Cross.
Jose Moreno stressed that the Jubilee Year 2017, the official opening is scheduled for January 8, "is a very important not only for our city but for the whole region of Murcia time, since it represents an event of a religious nature worldwide and an opportunity to seasonally adjusted tourism sector. "
Both the director and the mayor have agreed on the need to continue working together and coordinated by government, the Spanish diocese and the private sector for the Jubilee Year of Caravaca de la Cruz acquire the dimension it deserves and becomes in a project of economic, tourist and social transformation for the region.
