Facilitating the labor insertion of young people and professionalizing the hospitality sector are two of the objectives of the 'Restaurant and Bar Operations' course, organized, for the third year, by the City Council of Caravaca de la Cruz, through the service of Employment of the Department of Youth, and subsidized by the Regional Employment Service and Training (SEF) with more than 15,000 euros.
The course has been closed with a demonstration of the culinary knowledge and attention to the public acquired in recent months, which has been attended by the Councilor for Tourism, Commerce and Crafts, Gloria Gomez, who has congratulated both the students and The monitors for the work and the illusion demonstrated.
Gloria Gómez also highlighted the dynamic and participative nature of this training action, as well as the importance of these initiatives linked to the hotel sector for a tourist city such as Caravaca de la Cruz.
The students will complete the training received in the classroom of the Youth Center and the kitchens of Salons Castillo de la Cruz, with a period of practice in premises attached to the Association of Merchants and Hosteliers of Caravaca, which will enable them to obtain the Certificate Of Professional level 1.
