FOTO-NOTICIA // More than 8,000 plastic containers and 1,000 cans of soda make up the Christmas Tree installed by the City Council of Caravaca de la Cruz, in collaboration with the concessionaire company of the municipal cleaning service, Urban Actions.
The councils of Services, Environment and Education have counted on the collaboration of the different schools of the municipality, that have been in charge to collect the containers and to elaborate the ornaments with reusable materials.
The Association of Rural Women of Los Prados has also been involved in this activity, realizing the star that crowns the tree of the Plaza San Juan de la Cruz.
From the Consistorio caravaqueño this initiative is promoted in order to promote recycling at Christmas, a time in which a large amount of waste is generated both commercially and domestically.
