In order to facilitate a series of guidelines and practical advice for the safety and well-being of older people, an informative talk will be held at the Pensioner's Home in Archivel next Tuesday, December 27 at 11:00 am.
It is an activity organized with the collaboration of the councils of Social Services and Security of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz, framed in the 'Major Plan of Security' of the Civil Guard.
The security of the citizen is a primary mission in the daily work of the Civil Guard.
Older persons constitute a group which must be given special protection.
In this sense, the Councilor for Social Services in the Consistory of the city of María José Soria has advanced that this talk will focus on informing the "appropriate behavior guidelines to prevent those criminal acts that are most often committed against our elders ".
The 'Major Security Plan' is aimed primarily at older people, who are considered especially vulnerable to certain types of crime, such as robberies with violence and intimidation, home thefts, scams and illegal or unauthorized use of their Economic resources by third parties.
