Cakes, 'mantecasos', cordiales, cocos, rolls of wine and bilbaínos were some of the recipes elaborated in the intergenerational workshop of Typical Christmas Sweets, organized by the Council of Youth of the City Council of Caravaca de la Cruz, with the collaboration of the Center Of the IMAS.
About 40 boys and girls, along with a score of users of the Senior Center, participated in this activity, coordinated by the monitor, Maruja Sánchez.
The objective of this workshop, which is repeated in Easter, is that traditional gastronomic recipes are not lost and passed from generation to generation, while offering an alternative to reconcile work and family life during school holidays.
