The Department of Education of the City Council of Caravaca de la Cruz, in collaboration with the Federation of Mothers and Fathers (FAMPA), launches the second edition of the 'Municipal School of Fathers and Mothers', which includes in its programming workshops 'Coaching educativo', as well as several talks and specific activities on topics of interest related to the education of minors.
"The fundamental basis of education resides in families and this school pretends to be a useful tool that helps the parents to face the challenges that arise, also serving as a forum in which families can share their concerns and experiences ", As pointed out by the Councilor for Education, Esther Poveda.
The 'Municipal School of Fathers and Mothers', open to the participation of any person related or interested in the educational field, is composed of two types of differentiated activities.
On the one hand, the free assistance talks and on the other, the coaching workshops are offered, with a tuition price of 10 euros and 5 for members of the Ampas.
The educational coaching workshops consist of two sessions, with a total duration of six hours, and will be given on Thursdays, from 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm.
The inscriptions are formalized in the service Informajoven, of the Young Center.
The cycle of talks of the 'Municipal School of Fathers and Mothers' will begin on February 16, at 19.30, with the presentation 'Detect and prevent bullying', taught by the educator Ăšrsula Cajas, in the House of the Culture 'Emilio Sáez'.
The programming will continue with 'Leisure in family-Workshop cooking smiles' (March 17),' Affective-sexual education.
How to talk about sexuality with our children '(April 6),' Communication between parents and children '(May 25) and' Round table: Values ​​in education '(June 15).
