'The memory of the hands' is a documentary hybrid feature that proposes the revision of pedagogical methodologies developed by Celestin Freinet and experienced by a series of teachers in the public school of the Region of Murcia in the 70s and 80s. Poses from the university classroom and supposes a revision of the testimonies that created a different form of class with the objective of evaluating its validity in the current school.
Feature film is produced by the University of Murcia, Multimedia Support Unit of the Information Technologies and Applied Communications Area (ATICA) in collaboration with the Center for Studies of Educational Memory (CEME) and the Inter-Union of Teaching STERM, With the support of Rain Studios JE in the post-production phase.
This is the first feature produced by the University of Murcia and is also the first by a public university on the public school.
The documentary has been projected both in the faculties of Education and Communication of the UMU, and in the faculty of Education of the Complutense University of Madrid.
He has also won numerous national and international awards.
