The municipalities of Caravaca de la Cruz and Cehegín will host the next 17th, 18th and 19th of February the celebration of the XXIX International Trophy 'Murcia Costa Cálida', considered the most popular orientation test of all those celebrated in Spain and one of the most Known internationally.

This sports event, which returns to the Northwest Region on the occasion of the Jubilee Year 2017, has been presented by the Councilor for Sports in the City Council of Caravaca de la Cruz, Antonio Donate;

His counterpart in the Consistory ceheginero, Joaquín López, and the president of the Guidance Federation of the Region of Murcia, Francisco Guerao, who have advanced that there are already more than 1,000 registered participants, of which 380 are foreign, coming from countries like Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Ukraine, Switzerland, Romania and Russia, among others.

The competition corresponds to the second test of the Spanish Orienteering League.

The Costa Cálida Trophy is the second oldest orienteering test in Spain and is consolidated as the best national test within this specialty, thanks to its technical and organizational quality.

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 17th Model race and timed training in Caravaca de la Cruz Dorsal delivery From 16 to 22 hours.

SATURDAY 18, OF FEBREROC long race WRE.map (new): Llano de Arriba, Caravaca de la Cruz.After 8:00: information and delivery of riders.After 9:00 am: individual departure for all categories . The OPEN categories will have free output between 10:00 and 11:30 hours. Correlín at 11:45 am in the competition center.

Carrera sprint (DIURNA) Map: Cehegín, casco histórico.First departure at 15:45 hours.

SUNDAY, 19 FEBREROCarrera.Capacity (new): Cañada de Canara, Cehegín.After 8:00: information and delivery of riders.In the competition center there will be toilets, information point of the organization and service of collection of OPEN categories will have free output between 9:30 and 11:00 hours.

Trophy delivery at 1:00 p.m. in the competition center to the top three in each category and the first 5 of the WRE race.
