The mayor, José Moreno, accompanied by the Councilor for Education and Youth, Esther Poveda, and the Councilor for Urbanism, Works, Agriculture, Livestock, Environment and Pedanias, Enrique Fuentes, presented the prize to the Caravaqueño schoolchildren, Education of initiatives such as this, which have been aware since the early ages of the need to adopt responsible habits with regard to water, both as regards its consumption and its return to the natural environment, through purification processes.
The event, celebrated in the House of Culture 'Emilio Sáez', also had the participation of the head of the municipal water service of Caravaca de la Cruz, Mario González, who highlighted the high participation in the municipality and the satisfaction of having been able To get the message of this year: "They have been able to know better the water and its integral cycle, as well as the work that entails taking it to the homes with total guarantees, with quality and quantity and also using technologies that make life easier and Help them consume it more responsibly. The event was convened on March 22, World Water Day, with the motto "The cycle of water for brave", around the microsite www.elciclodelaguaparavalientes.es and called to participate the children of 3 ° and 4 ° of Primary Of the schools of Spain in which Aqualia is present.
This year it has been proposed for children to express their knowledge about each of the phases of the water cycle in a fairy tale environment.
Wizards, paladins and other characters have inspired the little ones in this fun challenge, boosting their creativity along with their awareness of the water.
From the organization of the contest they point out that the objective was essentially that "they can walk through each of the stages of the integral water cycle, showing, in addition, what they have learned about it, creating their own story environment."
