The Council of Caravaca de la Cruz unanimously approved in the last plenary session a motion calling on the Autonomous Community and the Consortium for the Extinction of Fire and Rescue (CEIS) of the Region of Murcia to carry out a plan for growth and modernization That allows to improve the quality and efficiency of the important service that they render to the society.
Specifically, the text presented by the Government team of the Socialist Party and approved with the modifications introduced by the Municipal People's Group, calls for the drafting, in collaboration with the trade union representatives, of a plan for growth and modernization that encompasses, among other aspects , Reducing to a maximum of 20 minutes response times for all municipalities.
The motion also highlights the need to carry out a series of actions, such as a comprehensive training plan for the staff, a maintenance plan for the facilities and a modernization of the vehicle fleet.
The political groups represented at the table were in favor of supporting the CEIS to promote the modernization of the consortium, adopting appropriate and law-based measures, including upgrading or reforming parks, incorporating new staff and Vacancies, among other measures.
