On March 12, at 10:00 a.m., different urban and natural environments of the locality will be the scene of the solidarity, sports and leisure activity 'Caravaca en macha por Filipinas', promoted by the NGO 'Delwende', of Our Lady of The Consolation, with the collaboration of the City Council of Caravaca de la Cruz and various sponsoring companies.

The objective of this activity is to collaborate with the 'Feeding Center Makopa' project, a center supported by the Consolation sisters in a zone of extreme poverty in Quenzon City, where the basic needs of children with malnutrition problems are covered.

This was explained by the organizers of the march during the presentation held in the City of Caravaca, with the presence of Councilors Sports, Antonio Donate, and Social Services, M ° José Soria;

The president of the local delegation of 'Delwende', Mª Cruz López;

Sister Mari Ángeles Lara and David Giménez, representing the educational community of the school of Our Lady of Consolation.

The Councilors of Sports and Social Services called for participation, as it is an activity suitable for all audiences, which can be enjoyed with family or friends.

"It is a march of about 6 kilometers, which will have as an exit area and goal Pedro García-Esteller Park, and which will be enlivened with different activities, performances, raffles and a lunch," according to Antonio Donate.

Maria José Soria highlighted the work of the NGO 'Delwende', which has been supporting projects in disadvantaged countries, mainly related to children and education, for 20 years.

Registration costs 5 euros (children up to 12 years) and 6 euros (from 13 years), an amount that will go entirely to the 'Feeding Center Makopa', where about 60 children from families in extreme situations Poverty receive health care, protein diet and vitamin shock to recover their delicate state of health.

Those who want to participate in the march and collaborate with the cause, can register in the offices of the Department of Sports, located in the Juan Antonio Corbalán Pavilion, or at the goal of Our Lady of Consolation School.

The inscription includes dorsal, T-shirt, gifts and lunch in the place of the Fuentes del Marqués (with drink and consumption).
