The Councilor for Education and Youth, Esther Poveda, accompanied by the professor of the Conservatory 'Leandro Martínez Romero', Erick Tinocco, today made an invitation to participate in the concerts of the VI Guitar Festival 'Ciudad de Caravaca', held in Different spaces of the locality from the 7 to the 10 of March.
The festival, which will have the participation of internationally renowned interpreters, is also made up of a series of master classes aimed at the students of the Caravaqueño conservatory.
The recitals, open to full capacity, will begin on Tuesday, March 7 at 8 pm at the Carmelite Fathers' Church by the Norwegian guitarist Anders Clemens, who teaches at the University of Oslo and has Was a soloist with orchestras in Norway, Spain and South Korea, receiving several awards in international competitions.
On Wednesday, March 8, at 8:00 pm, at the Cajamurcia Culture Hall, it will be the turn of the alumni group of the 'Leandro Martínez Romero' conservatory formed by Rosa María Torres Bermúdez, María Bastida Abril and Ramón Emilio Sánchez Soriano .
On Thursday, March 9, at 8:00 p.m., the concerts return to the Carmelite Fathers' Church, with Isabel Martínez, an outstanding guitarist who currently compagina his concert career with his for his passion for teaching at the Conservatory of Music of San Javier (Murcia).
She has received training with some of the best masters of the classical guitar of the moment and has offered numerous recitals in Europe, Asia and South America, being regularly invited to international festivals such as the Bath Guitar Festival of the United Kingdom or the Guitar Festival of Porto Alegre from Brazil.
The closing of the festival will be carried out by the Mexican musician Cecilio Perera, who has been present in all editions of the Guitar Festival 'Ciudad de Caravaca'.
Perera returns Friday, March 10, at 8:00 pm to the Plenary Hall of the City Hall.
Cecilio Perera currently teaches in the chair of Eliot Fisk at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg, Austria and also at the Freilassing School of Music, Germany.
There are numerous international awards he has received throughout his long career, including 44 first places in competitions and contests in Europe and America.
