A total of 1,517 people visited the exhibition 'Tecnorrevolución' in Caravaca de la Cruz during its first week of opening.
The exhibition, organized by the Social Work of 'La Caixa', with the collaboration of the Caravaca de la Cruz City Council, on the occasion of the Jubilee Year 2017, shows the progress of convergent technologies, the implementation of which has brought unthinkable progress towards Humanity.
'Tecnorrevolución' is located on the Granada road, next to the old wheat store.
It will remain in the city until the 21st of March, with an opening schedule from Monday to Friday, from 9.30 to 13.30 and from 16.00 to 21.00 hours.
On Saturdays and Sundays you can visit from 11.00 to 14.00 and 17.00 to 21.00 hours.
Guided tours are held every day at 7 pm and on weekends at 12.30 and 7.00 pm
'Tecnorrevolución' is an interactive exhibition on convergent technologies: nanotenology, biotechnology, information and communication technologies (ICTs), and cognitive sciences (NBIC).
Their interconnections are changing the world around us and provoking a real revolution in fields as diverse as construction, transport, agriculture, medicine, education or art.
Move a ball with the power of the mind, guess through a computer how a virus spreads and a pandemic occurs, see how a robot interacts with us and reacts to our movements.
These are just a few applications of the converging technologies that visitors to 'TechnoVolution' can see.
