The councilman of Urbanism and Environment in the City of Caravaca de la Cruz, Enrique Fuentes, and the general director of the Water, Andrés Martínez, have visited the site of Cañada Lentisco, where they are going to carry out works to end the Problems suffered by the General Collector of Sanitation, in its final section to the treatment plant.
"It is a very demanded action by the neighbors and farmers of the area, because with rains of a certain intensity there are spills of diluted wastewater with rainwater, which produces discharges to neighboring lands and is a significant problem both For health and for the environment, "explained Fuentes.
The works, which have a deadline of two months, have a budget of 50,000 euros, included in the Plan for Improvement of the System of Sanitation and Treatment of the Region of Murcia, General Water Directorate.
The project of the spillway to the General Collector of Caravaca, presented by the City Council of Caravaca, is to increase the capacity of the sanitation system in a final stretch of 200 meters, as well as the replacement of the pavement and all affected infrastructure.
