Expressing the experiences that children and young people have over the Vera Cruz Festival is the main objective of the Almoravid Drawing and Painting Contest that this year reaches its 36th edition.
The Councilor for Culture and Celebrations, Ă“scar Martínez, and the president of the Almorávides kábila, Sebastián Sánchez, presented this afternoon the bases of the contest, along with those of the XXI Literary Creation Contest, which also has as its central theme the patron saint festivities Caravaca de la Cruz
The deadline to submit the originals ends on Friday, April 7 and must be delivered to the printing press Torres Romera.
The bases will be sent as every year to the teaching centers of the municipality, both those of the urban area and those of the districts.
For the drawings a total of nine categories are established, with three prizes for each of them;
While for literary works they are distributed in three categories, both for verse and for prose, with two prizes and a second prize for each category and modality.
The drawings will be exhibited at the Cajamurcia Foundation Culture Hall, on Calle Cuesta de la Plaza, from April 17 to 20.
The works of literary creation can be sent, with the system of motto and ply, with the pseudonym, by email to the address culturalmoravides@gmail.com.
The jury's ruling and prize giving will take place at the Thuillier Theater on Friday, April 21, starting at seven in the afternoon.
