Sportsmen of 47 universities meet this Saturday, June 25, at the Spanish University Championship of Campo a Través, held in the Caravel of the Fuentes del Marqués, as announced by the Councilor for Sports in the City Council Of Caravaca de la Cruz, Antonio Donate, and the Director General of Sports of the Universidad Católica San Antonio (UCAM), Pablo Rosique.

This activity is one of the ten Spanish championships that, within the offer of the Higher Council of Sports, organizes the UCAM in the Region of Murcia.

"The value of clean sports and university coexistence are two of the key ingredients of this championship, which will include 211 top level athletes, within this sport," explained the mayor Antonio Donate.

Pablo Rosique has announced that "the nearly 2,000 university students who will participate in the championships planned in the municipalities of Caravaca de la Cruz, Murcia, Los Alcazares, Cartagena, San Pedro del Pinatar and Santiago de La Rivera will carry the Image of the Way of the Cross in the equipment ".

The outings of the University of Spain Championship of Cross Country will take place at 12.00 (women's category) and 12.35 (men's category).
