Some thirty young people complete their training in the Youth Center, thanks to the offer of courses in employment offered by the Department of Youth of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz.
The Councilor for Youth and Education, Esther Poveda, has reported that the courses of 'Trade Assistant' and 'English B1' are currently being taught, aiming to improve the professional skills of those young people who are unemployed.
These training actions are framed in the National System of Youth Guarantee, which includes the City of Caravaca de la Cruz, with the development of projects in the field of training and career guidance.
The course 'English B1 1', funded by the European Social Fund and the Regional Employment and Training Service, focuses on preparing young people for the official Cambidge exam, through 240 hours of lessons.
For its part, the course 'Assistant dependent on trade' is taught by Red Cross and funded by the Ministry of Employment and Social Security.
It consists of a total of 265 hours of training, with internships in companies, which will allow students to obtain the certificate of professionalism.
The Youth Guarantee System is a young entrepreneurship and employment program approved by the Ministry of Employment 2013 and its aim is to ensure that young people between the ages of 16 and 24 receive the necessary tools to discover their potential and develop their skills.
The Employment Department of the Department of Youth is guided by the active search for employment, information is distributed on existing training and companies with the availability of contracts in practices and offers are received from European funds for the promotion of self-employment.
