In its last two motions, which will be placed on the agenda of the next Ordinary Plenary, Grupo Popular attends demands from the residents of the districts of Caravaca by requesting, on the one hand, the installation of pavement in the Pavilion of Archivel and, for Another, the placement in some crossings and roads of semaphores with manual button.
These proposals have been presented in Archivel by the spokesman of the Popular Group, José Francisco García, and the councilors Sergio López and Huertas Amador, who have highlighted the importance that for the PP have the districts of Caravaca and its neighbors.
About the sports center of Archivel, which was built in 2011 with a budget of over 600,000 euros, the mayor Sergio López explained that it is located on the Carretera de las Noguericas, next to the municipal swimming pool, and consists of a top surface To 1,400 square meters.
"The installation of a sports pavement that complies with the regulations of the Sports Federations and allows to improve the service provided to this hamlet can be an added complement and alleviate the deficit in sports facilities," explained the councilor, who has asked that this game Be included in the municipal budgets of 2017 and that once installed the pavement be made multipurpose marking in accordance with the regulations of the Sports Federations in the summer period of 2017, minimizing the damage to the sports activities of our municipality.
As for the placement of traffic lights with manual push button, the mayor Huertas Amador explained that they are very useful in crossings of pedestrians little frequented or great danger.
The manual activation of the lights maintains the preference for traffic.

This type of traffic lights are very useful in small rural populations, where zebra crosses are little traveled, but are also very useful for people with some type of physical disability.
"Neighbors of districts such as Los Prados, Navares and La Almudema have been demanding the installation of these traffic lights in the crossings that cross these populations, but must study all the districts where they may be necessary," added Huertas Amador.
