The registration period for the '90K Camino de la Cruz', the sports event organized on the occasion of the Jubilee Year 2017 of Caravaca de la Cruz, will be open on the 7th of October.
The organization provides 1,000 bucks to participate in the different modalities of this competition, which is called to be one of the major sporting events of the year in the Region of Murcia.
The inscriptions can be formalized through the platform of the Federation of Athletics of the Region of Murcia (FAMU) (www.famu.es), where, in addition, all aspects related to the test, such as regulations, , Prizes and fair of the corridor, among other aspects.
The '90K Camino de la Cruz' will link the Cathedral of Murcia with the Royal Basilica of Vera Cruz, also giving the option of participating in the Marathon mode, from the city of Mula.
The smaller ones will also have their moment, in the frame of the 'Peregrinicos Kids', with ludic sports activities.
The test will be scoring for the Ultra Trail Mont-Blanc (UTMB), being also recognized by the ITRA (International Trail Association) and therefore included in the international Trail calendar.
The route combines the homologated trails of the GR 127 "Segura River Road", along the Segura river between Murcia and Molina de Segura, and the GR 250 "Camino del Apóstol", along the Greenway between Molina de Segura and Caravaca.
It is a competitive and eliminatory foot race, which establishes control points during the course, with a maximum of 24 hours to reach the goal in Caravaca de la Cruz.
If the controls do not enter the times established by the organization, the test must be abandoned.
You can run, walk or walk with or without walking sticks, and it is also suitable for people in wheelchairs and with functional diversity taking into account the distance, but that is a level and accessible ground.
The Federation of Athletics of the Region of Murcia, in collaboration with the Solidarity Trekking Association of the Region of Murcia, the Consortium of the Greenways of the Region of Murcia, the Foundation Camino de la Cruz and the municipalities of Murcia, Molina de Segura, Alguazas, Campos del Río, Albudeite, Mula, Bullas, Cehegín and Caravaca de la Cruz organize the race, walker and Nordic walking 90K Camino de la Cruz 2017.
