The Council of Youth of the City Council of Caravaca de la Cruz closed the first edition of the workshop 'Street Art', with which different urban spaces have been decorated in the town.
To close the workshop, the 22 students had the pleasure of collaborating with the urban artist of Caravaque origin and with a wide international trajectory and recognition SAM3, who taught them some aspects of their personal and characteristic style, making a mural in the building of the Conservatory of Music 'Leandro Martínez Romero'.
The 'Street Art' workshop was led by local artist, Fine Arts graduate, Nany Salcedo, who at the various sessions held over two months has shown children and young participants the possibilities of interaction with the urban environment , Through the knowledge techniques of artistic expression.
This initiative has left its mark on the city, giving color to different places, such as the sports complex 'Francisco Fernandez Torralba', the tourist bus stop of Avenida de Los Andenes-Gregorio Sánchez Romero or the Conservatory.
'Street Art' is part of a program of activities promoted by the Department of Youth during weekends and holidays, with the aim of encouraging educational and cultural initiatives, generating healthy meeting spaces between children and young people.
