The City Council of Caravaca de la Cruz and Ecoembesestablish new avenues of collaboration to promote recycling in the municipality, especially affecting school centers, municipal buildings, historic homes and commercial and hotel premises.
To this end, the number of bins and containers will be increased and two public awareness campaigns will be carried out.
Specifically, a total of 102 yellow and blue litter bins will be distributed for plastic containers, cans and bricks, paper and cardboard and new yellow containers will be installed in areas of the old town.
These elements will be offered to the HORECA establishments (hotels, restaurants, cafes and catering) to facilitate the separation of waste.
In addition, throughout 2017, two awareness campaigns will be held to encourage neighbors to recycle and recuse the amount of improper.
To the usual campaign that the City Council of Caravaca carries out annually, in collaboration with Ecoembes and Urban Actions, adds a specific one on the occasion of the Jubilee Year.
In total, a budget of € 10,000 is earmarked for these awareness actions.
