The Department of Sports of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz will provide sports pavement to the Pavilion of Archivel.
This has been ratified by the councilor in charge of the area, Antonio Donate, who has informed that the draft of the municipal budgets of 2017 contemplates a game of 76,000 euros destined to the installation of approved ground for the sport practice in this municipal installation.
"In the meetings that the mayor and components of the Government team maintained with the Neighborhood Association of Archivel in May and in September of 2016 the commitment was fixed to take care of this request, ordering and drafting a project so that this space meets all the conditions Necessary for the practice of various sports and comply with the regulations set by the federations, "said the mayor.
Donate has continued to explain that in the course of the Neighborhood Meeting held on February 13 at the Archivel Social Center, the project was presented to the neighbors, with the budget included for public bidding, the qualities of the pavement and its adaptation for the Practice of Soccer Hall, Handball, Basketball, Minibasket and Badminton.
"Subsequently comes a motion of the Municipal People's Group in which this action is demanded and some unfounded alarm that this project will not be executed, when it is a closed commitment with the neighbors that will be materialized this year, once approved the Budgets, "according to the head of Sports in the Consistory Caravaqueño.
The Cultural and Sports Center of Archivel was held in 2010, with a budget of 606,100 euros, amount financed through the II State Funds and the State Fund for Employment and Local Sustainability (PLAN E).
The installation consists of a concrete structure, with changing rooms and a track, not counting with the pavement required the different federations for intensive sports practice.
