The Council of Festivities of the City Council of Caravaca de la Cruz presented the prizes of the fifth edition of the contest on the 'Festivities of Caravaca' and the first edition of the contest 'Balconies and Escaparates Festeros'.
The contest developed Instagram has counted this year with about 800 new photos identified with the label #FoviesDeCaravaca, which brings to 4,100 images of the patron saints published in this social network.
The winners of the current edition were, with the first prize, Diego Martínez (@ mg85diego) and a photo of the contest of 'Horse to Hair';
The second prize went to Salvador Sánchez (@ salva20_98), with an image of the bath ritual of the Santísima and Vera Cruz, and the third for Juan Pedro García (@juanpedrogarci), with a photo of the Kabila Abul Khatar on the slope of the cross.
Each of the winners received tablets and smart watches courtesy of the concessionaire company of the municipal water service Aqualia, which has sponsored this contest during its five editions.
The objective of the Instagram contest, which closes once again with a high participation and interaction by the users, is to improve the positioning of the parties in honor of the Santísima and vera Cruz in Instagram, by creating content in this Social network with over 700 million active users.
This initiative, as well as the contest of 'Balconies and Escaparates Festeros', is part of the actions of online promotion of patron saint festivities, promoted by the Council of Festivities, in collaboration with the portal caravacaenfiestas.com.
In the first edition of the contest 'Balconies and Escaparates Festeros', held on Facebook, winners Ana Caballero and Binocle Optical Center, who enjoy a break with food, dinner and accommodation at the Hotel Don Juan de Aguilas, courtesy of The company in charge of the cleaning service, collection of waste and maintenance of parks and gardens, Urban Actions, Services and Environment.
The awards ceremony took place in the Plenary Hall of the City Council of Caravaca de la Cruz, with the presence of all the winners and the participation of the councilman of Celebrations and Culture, Óscar García;
The head of Aqualia in Caravaca, Mario González, and the head of the service of Urban Actions, Services and Environment, Víctor Martínez.
