The Plenary Hall of Caravaca City Hall has been the venue for the X Barista Competition and the 2nd 'Latte Art' Competition, organized by 'Salzillo tea and coffee', which wanted to celebrate this event in the town coinciding with The Jubilee Year 2017.
The Mayor, José Moreno, accompanied by the Councilor for Tourism and Commerce, Gloria Gómez, congratulated the organization, contestants and jury for this initiative, which exalts the excellence of coffee and strengthens the figure of the professional barista.
In addition, the mayor wanted to thank the Murcia company 'Salzillo tea and coffee' for his strong support for Caravaca de la Cruz and its Jubilee Year 2017, as one of the patrons of the Camino de la Cruz Foundation.
The jury, composed of professionals of the sector nationally and internationally, is in charge of determining the best professionals in the modalities of Best Cappuccino, Best Espresso, Best Combined with Coffee and Best Specialist in Latte Art, who will win a trip To a plantation of coffee of the Canary Islands with all the expenses paid.
