The awards ceremony of the VIII edition of the regional contest 'My digital newspaper' was celebrated in the House of Culture 'Emilio Sáez'.
The event, which brought together teams from twelve secondary schools and vocational training, was attended by the mayor of Caravaca de la Cruz, José Moreno;
The director general of Attention to Diversity and Educational Quality, María Esperanza Moreno, and the general director of La Verdad, Antonio González.
The competition has been directed to the students of Secondary Education, Baccalaureate and high school diplomas of centers of the Region of Murcia.
The objective of the journal has been that the participants become journalists and editors of a newspaper in digital edition, promoting the appropriate use of new technologies and skills such as teamwork, communication and proper use of language.
The finalist teams came from the Institutes Vicente Medina de Archena, Sierra de Carrascoy from El Palmar (Murcia), Sabina Mora de Roldán (Torre Pacheco), Los Albares from Cieza, Cañada de las Eras and Francisco de Goya from Molina de Segura, Valle Of the Segura de Blanca and Infante Don Juan Manuel de Murcia, as well as of the schools San Pedro Apostle of San Pedro del Pinatar, 21st Century of Puerto de Mazarrón and Samaniego de Alcantarilla.
