More than 150 students from institutes in the Region of Murcia have participated in Caravaca de la Cruz in the closing exhibition of the 'Schools in network' program (ESenRED), held at the Institute 'Ginés Pérez Chirinos' and on the Paseo de la Corredera .
This educational program, developed at a national level, aims to promote scientific and technological initiatives and to create in the educational center a process of participation, reflection, dialogue and exchange of ideas among young people to imagine and transform their surroundings.
The mayor of Caravaca, José Moreno, who has toured the fair in which the projects of nine institutes were exposed, together with the director general of Attention to Diversity and Educational Quality, María Esperanza Moreno, has praised the work developed by students and Teachers in the framework of the 'Networking Schools' project, 'because it is important to foster learning environments and brainstorming on the environmental and ecological problems that affect us'.
The Miguel de Cervantes institutes in Murcia, Europe de Águilas, José Martínez Ruiz-Azorín de Yecla, Sanje de Alcantarilla, Cartagena de Murcia and José Planes de Murcia spoke about their sustainability projects, addressing issues such as pollution of the Mar Menor, Recycling, energy saving or animal protection.
