The City Council of Caravaca de la Cruz commemorates this Sunday, June 4, the 'World Environment Day', with different activities and workshops on environmental awareness, which will take place on the Paseo de la Corredera, from 11.00 to 14.00 hours.

For the development of this celebration, the councils of Environment and Public Services have the collaboration of Ecoembes and the concessionaire company of the municipal service of cleaning and maintenance of parks and gardens, Urban Actions and Environment, which in addition to carrying out activities Of awareness on themes such as recycling or water, will show the role of 'Ecoparque Móvil'.

Also participating in the 'World Environment Day' associations are the 'Abraham Project' and 'Ecociencia' and the Center for Older Persons in Caravaca.

People who come to La Corredera walk can participate in different competitions and get gifts consisting of ecological products.

In addition, all those who come with a bag of plastic waste will opt for a trip to 'Terra Natura' for the whole family and the economic equivalent of the treatment of the waste contributed will go to the voluntary association for the welfare of animals' Ecociencia '.
