The collection of concerts will go to the association 'TeAyuda', Northwest Autism Spectrum Disorder, and the Camino de la Cruz Foundation for Heritage Rehabilitation
Between June 24 and July 21 there will be four major concerts in Caravaca de la Cruz, which will feature José Mercé, Ara Malikian, Coti, Morat and the Murcia bands Mclan and Funambulista.
The details of the program have been announced in a presentation held at the Museum of Fine Arts in Murcia (MUBAM), which was attended by the mayor of Caravaca de la Cruz, José Moreno, accompanied by the Minister of Tourism, Culture And Environment, Javier Celdrán;
The eldest sister of the Brotherhood of the Blessed and Vera Cruz, Elisa Giménez, and representatives of the Camino de la Cruz Foundation who have participated in the sponsorship of the festival: Caixabank, Queen's Desserts, Grupo Fuertes and Estrella de Levante.
The mayor has had words of thanks to the sponsors of the concerts, which assume the cache of confirmed artists: "Since we proposed this festival there was a strong commitment on the part of the Grupo Postres Reina to support and complement the summer cultural program in Caravaca, on dates as significant as the Jubilee Year 2017. The Caravaqueña company has been able to involve other companies that have assumed with the same enthusiasm this project.
The City Council of Caravaca de la Cruz will also turn to this festival of concerts, assuming the security, infrastructure, production and other aspects necessary for the development of the performances scheduled at the Castle, by José Mercé and Ara Malikian.
José Moreno has said that the concerts aspire to be a reference for the whole Region and are integrated into the programming of activities of the Jubilee Year 2017, "an event has managed to break the seasonality that until now had tourism in the Region of Murcia, Traditionally linked to sun and beach ".
The first of the scheduled concerts will take place at the Caravaca exhibition center on Saturday 24 June, with the participation of MClan and Coti at a price of two tickets for five euros.
On June 29 will be the turn of violinist Ara Malikian and Friday, July 14, by José Mercé;
Both on the esplanade of the Basilica and at a price per entry of ten euros.
The last concert will take place on Friday, July 21 with Morat and Funambulista in the fairground, at a price of two tickets for five euros.
Fifty percent of the proceeds from these shows will go to the 'Teayuda' Association of mothers and fathers of children and young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder in the Northwest Region, and the remaining 50% is for the Camino de la Fundación Cruz, which will allocate it entirely to rehabilitation activities of the religious and cultural heritage of Caravaca.
The purchase of the tickets can already be made through the Ticketea network (www.ticketea.com) and, from next week, in the pubs La Nota y la Nueva Joyería.
