With 'Huerta Chef' closes the Program of Consumption of Fruits and Vegetables in the schools of the Region
The cooking contest 'Huerta Chef', which closes the program of consumption of fruit and vegetables in the schools of the Region of Murcia, is held this Saturday, June 17, in Caravaca de la Cruz.

"It is an activity that we welcome in our city within a special program of the Jubilee Year 2017 and is designed to enjoy family, with a double playful and educational, and encourages the consumption of recipes made with healthy products," said José Moreno .
The second edition of 'Huerta Chef', carried out by the Federation of Agricultural Cooperatives of the Region of Murcia (Fecoam), is part of the program of consumption of fruits and vegetables in schools, whose priority objectives are to promote healthy habits And maintain a balanced diet in which the consumption of fruits and vegetables is a priority.
During a day, the students can become small cooks and discover in a creative and fun way the healthy cuisine.
The children will prepare their main courses, desserts and snacks with a simple elaboration.
The activity, accompanied by a series of parallel activities, will take place in the Gran Vía, from 10.00 to 12.30.
The jury will be composed of a participant of one of the editions of the TV show 'Master Chef Junior' and outstanding chefs from the Region of Murcia.
The jury will evaluate the recipes based on creativity, presentation and tasting.
Those students who want to participate can do so by registering on the website www.huertachef.com, where the registration form is available for download, which must be delivered at the school completed and signed by the parents or guardians.
In addition, until June 14 who want to participate can do it from home and perform such activity as a family.
