The Department of Youth of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz launches its offer of activities in the area of leisure and training for the summer months.
The program 'Summer Youth 2017' aims to promote alternative forms of leisure and contribute to the reconciliation of family and work life during the holiday period.
It is structured in five blocks, in order to meet the different tastes and demands: summer schools, workshops, training courses, European labor camps and exchanges.
Holiday schools will be developed during July and August.
They will have as their headquarters the Caravaca Sports Center and the districts of La Encarnación, Barranda and Archivel.
The urban school has an inclusion component, as it will be adapted to the participation of minors with some type of disability.
Within the workshops section, the Department of Youth offers the titles of 'Photography', 'Climbing' and 'Radio', the latter thanks to the collaboration of the municipal radio station 'Caravaca Radio'.
In terms of training, the fourth edition of the 'Leisure and Leisure Monitor' course will be held, which will allow to obtain the official title issued by the Regional School of Leisure Time.
One of the novelties of the program 'Youth Summer 2017' is the experiences of volunteering for young people, which will be carried out through the field of work organized by the City of Caravaca, the General Directorate of Youth and the Apcom association.
This field, approved by the Institute of Youth of Spain (INJUVE), will gather from 16 to 29 June, young people from different parts of Spain around the work that takes place in the Center and Residence of Large Dependents of ' The Cup '.
On the other hand, the programming of the Youth Council also collects European exchanges and meetings, within the 'Erasmus +' program.
During the summer period, in order to adapt to the needs of its users, the Youth Center will open, from June 26th, from 6 pm to 11 pm.
