The Council of Tourism of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz will carry out during the second half of July children's activities of leisure and free time in the place of the Fuentes del Marqués.
The programmed workshops, each lasting a week, will be given at the Interpretation Center of Nature, located in Torreón de las Fuentes, and in some areas of the site itself.
In terms of content, 34 different activities are planned, mostly related to games that promote knowledge and respect for the fauna and flora of this natural environment, alternated with workshops to create crafts from recycled materials.
The first workshop will be aimed at children of 3, 4 and 5 years and will be held from 17 to 21 July.
The second will be for children under 6, 7 and 8 years, and will take place from 24 to 28 July.
The hours will be from 10.00 to 13.00 hours.
The inscriptions have a price of five euros and can be formalized at the Municipal Tourism Office (968 70 24 24).
The children's leisure and leisure workshops at Fuentes del Marqués are part of the local public employment program launched last April to strengthen tourism services during the Jubilee Year 2017.
This program is subsidized with about 70,000 euros by the Consistorio Caravaqueño, the Regional Employment and Training Service (SEF) and the European Social Fund and has allowed the recruitment of five young people, who work to provide care and information to the visitor, and A monitor for recreation and entertainment in the area of ​​Las Fuentes.
All workers are under 30 years old and previously enrolled in the National System of Youth Guarantee.
