The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia has developed an action that has resulted in the arrest of two young people as suspected perpetrators of the crime of robbery with intimidation committed in a tobacconist of the caravaqueña village of Barranda.
They have recovered the belongings of the victim and seized a balaclava, a pair of gloves and two mobile phones.
The action began when the Benemérita received an emergency call on the perpetration of a robbery in a commercial establishment in the town of Barranda-Caravaca de la Cruz, which two young people had agreed to wield a weapon, supposedly simulated, seizing the bag of the employee.
Immediately, a large police device was set up to identify the suspects, as well as to locate and stop them.
These first investigations allowed to find out that the robbery had just been committed in a tobacconist and that the suspects, two young men, of thin complexion, had fled aboard a tourism of red color.
The Civil Guard established an extensive operation aimed at the thorough surveillance of the circulation of vehicles on the RM-15 road known as the Northwest Motorway, as well as the exits to other communication routes that could deviate to avoid its location.
Arrested when they fled after committing the robbery
This police device made it possible to detect a vehicle with characteristics similar to the one that was occupied by two men and intended to leave the motorway at the exit of Cehegín-La Paca.
The agents intercepted tourism, whose two occupants attempted to escape on foot through a wooded area, at which time they were arrested.
They are two men, 25 and 34 years old, neighbors of Cehegín and Bullas, one of them with a large criminal history, who are attributed the alleged authorship of the crime of robbery with intimidation.

The arrested, the effects seized and the investigations instructed have been made available to the Court of Instruction number 2 of Caravaca de la Cruz (Murcia).
