The Local Security Board met today in an ordinary capacity in the City Council of Caravaca de la Cruz, presided over by the mayor, José Moreno, and the Government delegate in the Region of Murcia, Antonio Sánchez-Solís.
In the same has also participated the colonel chief of the Civil Guard in the Region of Murcia, Jesus Arribas, along with Councilor for Security, Traffic and Emergencies, Pedro Antonio Muñoz, and local commanders of the Civil Guard and Local Police.
During the meeting an assessment was made of the Jubilar 2017 and the measures in the area of ​​citizen security have been coordinated to face the last quarter of the year.
Likewise, it has been agreed to join the Council of Caravaca de la Cruz to the protocol of assistance and protection of victims of gender violence of the Secretary of State for Security, to improve coordination between Local Police and Civil Guard and to allocate more resources and staff to the fight against this social scourge.
