With the motto 'Take the path of healthy life', the Department of Sports of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz launches a new edition of the municipal program of hiking 'D'Ruta', with exits, different levels of difficulty, to places natural and mountain areas of the Region and neighboring provinces.
The Department of Sports promotes this activity - which takes place monthly from October to May - to combat sedentarism and promote healthy habits of life among the population, through sports in nature.
Each of the outings planned within the D'Ruta program will be guided by specialized trekking instructors.
In total, eight routes, of low, medium and high intensity, have been programmed.
Children from the age of nine will be able to participate in those low difficulty exits.
The municipal program of hiking 'D'Ruta' 2017/2018 begins next October 22 with the tour 'Zarzalar-Embalse del Taibilla', with a distance of approximately 14 kilometers and cataloged with a low level of intensity.
In addition, the following routes have been planned: 'Cañaverosa-Arrozales de Calasparra' (5 November), 'Alberquilla-Peña Rubia' (3 December), 'Revolcadores' (14 or 21 January),' El Buitre por el Toril '(11 or 18 February),' Pico del Fraile '(25 March),' Strait of Bolvonegro '(13 May) and' Path of the Stars-Hanging Bridges of the Cahorros de Granada '(26 and 27 of May).
Entries can be formalized from the Monday before each departure, at the offices of the municipal sports service, located in the Juan Antonio Corbalán Pavilion, or on the reservation website www.sporttia.com.
