As a novelty, the workshops of 'Design and Fashion' and 'Photography', proposals chosen by the young, are offered through the project of participatory budgets applied to the area of Youth
In order to offer alternative leisure and free time for weekends, the Youth Council of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz offers new workshops and courses within the 'Caravaca Joven' program.
Theater, photography, cooking or design and fashion are some of the themes of the activities that will be held during the fall and winter months in the Youth Center and for which the registration deadline is already open.
One of the novelties of this edition are the workshops 'Design and Fashion' and 'Photography'.
These proposals were chosen by the youth themselves through a vote, the result of the process of participatory budgets applied to the area of Youth, carried out by the City Council of Caravaca de la Cruz last year.
Alongside these proposals are offered others that have enjoyed acceptance in previous years: 'Municipal Theater School', 'Japanese Culture and Manga Workshop', 'School of Climbing' and 'Workshop and championship Football Chapas'.
The activity 'Cooking smiles and cooking with the family' will also be carried out, aimed at children aged 5 and over and their parents and taught by the former contestant of the 'Master Chef' program Mireia Ruíz.
Another of the consolidated proposals of the program of the Youth Council is the 'Ludoteca', with different activities every Saturday morning at the Youth Center.
It is an area of integration and inclusion, since it has specialized monitors for the care of children with disabilities.
On Saturday afternoons, the toy library will be held in different districts of the municipality.
The 'Caravaca Joven' program for the fall and winter months also includes training courses in the field of non-formal education, in which volunteering is encouraged, among other things.
The new courses offered are 'Monitor of leisure and free time', 'Animation in the street', 'Sign language.
Initial level ',' Techniques and resources for intergenerational animation 'and' Resources for volunteering '.
