More than 3,200 people have requested the services of the Municipal Tourist Office of Caravaca de la Cruz during the last bridge of the Constitution, coinciding with the celebration of the XIV Medieval Market, which represents an increase of 82% over the same period from the previous year.
The councilor in charge of Tourism and Handicrafts in Caravaca de la Cruz Town Hall, Gloria Gómez, has positively assessed this remarkable increase in users, "since, although these figures refer only to the people who requested information in person at the office of Calle de Las Monjas and at the service points of Plaza del Arco and Avenida de Los Andenes, they are a sample of the large number of people who chose Caravaca as a tourist destination during the last bridge ".
'The coincidence of the Medieval Market with weekend and with the final stretch of the Jubilee Year 2017 has made it one of the most multitudinous editions, both in number of visitors and in the number of participating artisans, which exceeded 200 arrived from all the points of the Spanish geography ", as the mayor Gloria Gómez has declared," what consolidates this event as the main tourist attraction of the Murcia Region for the Constitution Bridge ".
Of the total users, 34% came from municipalities in the Region of Murcia, 57% from other Spanish provinces and 7% were from abroad.
