In the Thuillier will be staged the children's shows 'Christmas Express', 'Little Red Riding Hood' and 'The Little Prince'
The City of Caravaca de la Cruz, through its councils Celebrations and Culture, has scheduled a series of activities to celebrate Christmas.
The Christmas program will begin this Friday, December 15, at 7:00 pm, with the lighting of ornamental lighting and the opening of the Municipal Bethlehem, which will be installed in the church of St. Joseph of the former convent of the Carmelite Mothers.
The Musical Group Caravaca de la Cruz offers this Saturday, December 16, the traditional 'Christmas Concert', scheduled for 7.30 pm, with free access until full capacity, at the Thuillier Theater.
During the performance, the musical formation will perform pieces of a very varied theme, such as the Rienzi overture, by the composer Richard Wagner;
Expedition, by Ă“scar Navarro;
the zarzuela Gigantes y cabezudos, composed by Fernández Caballero, and Concierto para Clarinete, by Artie Shaw, as well as Christmas songs.
The Municipal School and the Professional Conservatory of Music 'Leandro Martínez Romero' occupy a prominent place in the Christmas program, starring the following acts: Dance Festival (Friday, December 15, 8.30 pm, Thuillier Theater), Christmas Carols with pupils of the 'Suzuki' method (Thursday, December 21st, from 4:30 pm to 8:00 pm, in different urban locations), Musical Encounter of Students of Initiation and Choir of the Third Age (Thursday, December 21, Home of the Third Age) and Concert of Bands of the School and Conservatory of Music (Friday, December 22, 7:00 pm, Thuillier Theater).
The children's show 'Christmas Express', organized with the collaboration of the festive group Templar, will be held on Saturday, December 23, at 17.30, at Thuillier Theater.
On Wednesday, December 27, at 12.00, a play inspired by the classic tale of 'Little Red Riding Hood' will be performed at the Thuillier, and on Thursday, September 28, at the same time and in the same place , 'The Little Prince' will be staged.
The children's activities will culminate with the traditional Cabalgata de Reyes, scheduled for January 5, at 6.30 pm.
The 'Arsis' Choir will offer Christmas recitals at the church of La Candelaria de Barranda (December 24, at 12:00), at the Carmelite Fathers' Church (December 29, 8:00 pm) and at the parish of Santa Bárbara de Archivel (December 30, 7:00 pm).
