The Department of Social Services of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz has delivered the financial aid granted to Cáritas, aimed at completing the batches that are received from the National Food Fund and to cover the basic needs of families in a situation of vulnerability and / or exclusion Social.
The caravaqueño Consistory allocates 18,000 euros to collaborate with the three caravaqueñas delegations of Cáritas, quantity that becomes effective in two deliveries, at the end and beginning of the year.
The councilor in charge of directing the area of ​​Social Services, María José Soria, thanked the volunteers of this organization for the daily work they do to help the people who need it the most and reminded them that currently, there are around 300 families of Caravaca de la Cruz who receive attention in one of the delegations that Cáritas has located in the parishes of El Salvador, La Concepción and San Francisco.
