The Socialist Parliamentary Group is touring the different municipalities of the Region to explain their alternative to the regional government budgets for 2018, or as they have also called them, the Pact of the Crumbs of PP and Citizens.

This morning, the parliamentary deputy speaker Alfonso Martínez Baños and the deputies Choni Ludeña and Jesús Navarro have been in Caravaca with the mayors of Caravaca, José Moreno;

de Mula, Juan Jesús Moreno, the mayor of Bullas, Mª Dolores Muñoz;

the mayor of Cehegín, José Rafael Rocamora;

and the mayor of Moratalla, Jesús Amo, to work on the partial amendments to the regional budgets for these areas.

Jesús Navarro has stated that the debate on the Budget Law of the Autonomous Community for 2018 "arrives agreed, with no real possibility of improvement".

Criticizes that for the approval of this budget "the PP uses Citizens and this, by accepting, becomes jointly responsible for the policies of the PP. Surely on this occasion we repeat what happened with the amendments that were presented and included in the budget and that have not been executed, "he said.

For the municipality of Bullas, the Socialist Parliamentary Group has submitted partial amendments for the conditioning of the North-bypass road;

for the asphalting and signage of Avenida Luis de los Reyes;

for the repair of service roads of the highway;

another amendment to cover the sports hall of the Ródenas school and another for the expansion of the Bullas health center.

Mayor Mª Dolores Muñoz has claimed to the regional government honesty with the Northwest-Rio Mula region and that those projects that are essential for our municipalities are carried out and do not keep repeating budget after budget without it later becoming a reality.

Budgets 2018, a big lie

The Socialist deputy said that these budgets are similar to those that the PP presents and runs for 22 years and have caused us to be the poorest region, where debt has grown the most and has the largest deficit in Spain.

Jesus Navarro affirms that "the accounts for the year 2018 that the Government of the PP does not go to improve the conditions of life of the citizens nor our socioeconomic situation, since we are going to continue to lead Spain in terms of unemployment, poverty, inequality, school failure, waiting lists and with one of the lowest per capita income ".

For the PSOE, these budgets are a big lie, because the figures presented are not real, the expenses are undervalued, especially those referring to SMS (more than 300 million are missing), and revenues are inflated (at least 200 millions).

That means that next year we will be back at the head of Spain in breach of the deficit target, just as we are already this year.

The PSOE presents an alternative to these fallacious budgets of the PP for 2018, based on the reduction of inequality, on the improvement of public services and on municipalism.
