The City of Caravaca de la Cruz, through the Employment Service of the Department of Youth, opens the application period in the theoretical-practical course 'Promotion and socio-educational intervention with people with disabilities', aimed at people in situations of unemployment.

This formative action, with which the Level III Professionalism Certificate will be obtained, will provide the students with the necessary tools and resources to work in the educational, social and cultural areas with people with disabilities.

For this, a total of 370 hours will be taught, plus 80 hours of internship training in companies that work with people from this social group.

This course, which has a grant of 22,940 euros from the Regional Employment and Training Service (SEF) and the European Social Fund (ESF), will be composed of different modules, which will address social and community resources for people with disability, inclusion processes and basic cognitive strategies, among other aspects.

The course 'Promotion and socio-educational intervention with people with disabilities' will be taught from February 1 to May 25 of next year 2018 and will have a total of ten students.

The application period is open and ends on January 19.

On the other hand, from the Employment Center of the Department of Youth has programmed an 'English B1' course, which will be composed of 240 training hours, for which the application period is also open.

It is aimed at young beneficiaries of the National Youth Guarantee System and aims to facilitate their preparation for obtaining the official certification of English, as a basic tool for employment.

This course will also be financed by the SEF and ESF, with 19,200 euros.
