The mayor of Caravaca de la Cruz, José Moreno, and the councilor in charge of directing the area of ​​Education, Esther Poveda, have presented the prizes of the II Drawing and Writing Contest "What is for you the Constitution and what do you understand by Democracy? ", Which was convened among caravaqueños schoolchildren on the occasion of the 'Constitution Day'.
The student awarded in the writing category was Sergio Martínez-Reina Gómez, 5th grade of the School 'Basilio Sáez'.
The winners of the drawing are Elena Caro Marín, 5th grade of Primary;
Rocío Caro Sánchez, 1st of Primary, and Javier Navarro Calderón, 2nd of Primary, all of them students of the Basilio Sáez school.
Juan Carlos Pérez Giménez, of the special education school 'Ascruz' was also awarded.
The Plenary Hall of the City Council hosted the awards ceremony of this contest, convened by the Department of Education with the aim of encouraging and promoting reflection among pupils about the value and importance of the Constitution and Democracy.
