The stand of the Northwest Region hosts tomorrow, Thursday, the presentation of the Camino de San Juan de la Cruz, a historical route of pilgrimage that links seven municipalities of the Sierra de Segura with Caravaca de la Cruz
From today and until next Sunday, the municipalities of Caravaca de la Cruz, Cehegín, Calasparra and Moratalla make known the tourist offer of their respective municipalities in FITUR 2018, the International Tourism Fair of Madrid.
The Northwest of the Region of Murcia has its own stand, in which the natural, heritage, gastronomic and cultural resources of the region are made known.
For this, they have 70 meters of led screens, a space for meetings with professionals in the sector, a counter for the public and a permanent display of artisanal and gastronomic products.
During the five days that the fair will remain open to industry professionals and the public in general, at the Northwest stand will be a total of eight presentations of tourism resources highlighted in the region, along with numerous tastings and raffles gift of craft products and gastronomic
Coinciding with the Teresian Jubilee Year, Caravaca de la Cruz will present tomorrow, Thursday, at 1:00 p.m., the Way of St. John of the Cross, which follows the path that the Carmelite mystic made in his seven visits to the city, from the municipality of Beas de Segura (Jaén).
The Town Hall of Caravaca de la Cruz will also present the gastronomic product, of Carmelite origin, 'Yemas de Caravaca' (Friday, at 11.00), as well as the festivities of Moors, Christians and Horses of Wine and the forty edition of the Fiesta de las Cuadrillas de Barranda (Saturday, 12.00).
