The documentary series 'Geology in the Region of Murcia' is presented tomorrow, Friday 2 February, at 8:00 pm, at the House of Culture 'Emilio Sáez' of Caravaca de la Cruz.
With an entertaining and didactic approach, aimed at all audiences, this audiovisual work surprises by the spectacular nature of its images, many of them recorded by drones.
For its execution, computer graphics have been used, which facilitate the understanding of geological processes, and several actors present the contents in a close manner.
It is produced by the Integra Foundation, with scientific advice from the University of Murcia, through the geologist Juan Antonio López and the paleontologist Gregorio Romero.
The documentary series, 100 minutes long, shows the exceptionality of the Region as an enclave for the study of the different geological processes, its complex geological history of more than 200 million years and its unique and varied geography that make it an authentic natural laboratory with places of interest nationally and internationally.
Throughout its different chapters, it touches on aspects such as the fault that originated the May 11 earthquakes in Lorca or the imposing cliffs that recede to feed the beaches with sand, among many other experiences.
