The reform project of the Plaza de los Templarios will be concluded at the end of the month, as the Town Planning and Commerce councilors of Caravaca de la Cruz City Council, Enrique Fuentes and Gloria Gómez, respectively, have advanced in the visit to the works, along with the general director of Commerce and Consumption of the Autonomous Community, Francisco Abril, and the president of the Association of Merchants and Innkeepers of Caravaca, María Ángeles Muñoz.
The City of Caravaca de la Cruz is carrying out renovation works of this urban environment, with a global budget of 40,349 euros, of which 26,349 euros are municipal funds and the remaining 14,000 are financed through the call regional grants to local entities for investments in commercial spaces.
The works are consisting of the renewal of the pavement and the installation of new gardening and urban furniture, as well as the creation of adapted pedestrian crossings.
The general objective is to improve road safety and accessibility.
The Caravaqueño Consistory will carry out throughout the present year another performance of improvement of commercial environments in the Square of the Arc, that will have a similar budget and will also be received also to the mentioned line of subsidies.
