The City Council of Caravaca de la Cruz opens the contracting process for the exploitation and management through the concession of the Youth Municipal Shelter of the Fuentes del Marqués and the Aula de la Naturaleza.
The announcement of the tender has been published in the Official Bulletin of the Region of Murcia (BORM), being able to submit bids until March 5.
All natural or legal persons, Spanish or foreign, individually or in temporary union of entrepreneurs, whose purpose or activity is directly related to the object of the contract will be eligible for adjudication.
The form of public service adjudication of the Youth Hostel Fuentes del Marqués and Nature Classroom will be an open procedure, with the parties being subject to the provisions set forth in the terms and conditions, as well as compliance with the provisions of the Municipal Housing Regulations.
The contract will be governed by the Law on Contracts of the Public Sector.
In the specifications an annual fee is established in favor of the Caravaca de la Cruz City Council of 2,000 euros, which may be improved upwards in the economic offer.
The duration of the service contract will be four years, counting from the day following the formalization of the contract.
Therefore, the base bidding budget amounts to the amount of 8,000 euros, corresponding to the annual fee, with an estimated contract value of 16,000 euros, taking into account the possible extensions.
The awardee must offer quality services to the users of the youth hostel during their stay in the same, as well as promote contact with nature and enable the proper use of leisure and free time.
In the specifications the integration of a Sociocultural Animation Activities and Youth Encouraging Activities Plan is valued and, in general, those initiatives that stimulate and promote all types of sociocultural animation activities.
The Youth Hostel of the Fuentes del Marqués has a capacity of 44 seats, divided into 4 modules of 11 seats.
For the start-up of the service, the City Council will provide the space with all the furniture and materials that are listed in the hostel inventory.
