The church of San José hosts this Friday and Thursday, February 22 and 23, papers by historians Diego Marín and Francisco Fernández
The Moro Bando of the Commission of Celebrations of the Real Illustrious Brotherhood of the Brotherhood of the Vera Cruz, in collaboration with the City council of Caravaca de la Cruz, celebrates this Thursday and Friday, 22 and 23 of February, its cultural days, with the which commemorates the 60th anniversary of the refoundation of the patron saint festivities.
'From the rituals of the Cross to the Feasts of the Cross.
The origins' is the title of the round table and presentation by Diego Marín Ruiz de Assín, which will take place this Thursday, February 22, at 9:00 p.m., in the church of San José, of the former Convent of the Carmelite Mothers.
Diego Marín is a Doctor in History, with more than sixty works, including articles and books, mostly related to Caravaca in the Middle Ages.
In many of his studies, he has delved into the history of Vera Cruz and some of the aspects related to it, such as the Brotherhood, the Armaos or the possible origin of the Caballos del Vino.
The second part of the conference will take place the next day, Friday, February 23, with the round table and presentation 'Reviewing the history.
News and precisions about the Festival of Moors and Christians of Caravaca de la Cruz, which will also be celebrated at 9:00 pm, at the church of San José.
Francisco Fernández has a degree in Medieval History from the University of Murcia.
His work as head of the Municipal Archive of Caravaca de la Cruz, has led him to investigate and perform numerous works on the history of Caravaca;
Among these articles, collaborations and books in which it deals with religious Caravaca, political and festive.
