Some 200 students of the public school 'Cervantes' participate this week in a forest reforestation activity in the area of ​​the 'Casa de las Piñas'.

This initiative, which has had the support of the Department of Environment of the City of Caravaca and the Directorate General of the Natural Environment, is part of the project 'The secret life of trees', developed during the current academic year by the center educational, with different environmental awareness activities.

The Councilor for the Environment, Enrique Fuentes -which has accompanied one of the Primary groups that participate in the project "The secret life of the trees'- has congratulated the Cervantes school for this initiative with which the schoolchildren are made aware of the importance of nature conservation and respect for the environment.
